Campi Flegrei: summit in the Prefecture for the accommodation of the evacuees of Bagnoli

Naples – A crucial meeting was held this afternoon at the Prefecture in Naples, convened by the Prefect Michele di Bari in agreement with the Mayor Gaetano Manfredi.
The meeting saw the participation of the main institutions to address the delicate issue of housing for families in the Bagnoli district, affected by recent bradyseismic events and currently hosted in hotel facilities.

The interinstitutional table was attended by representatives of the Campania Region (with the General Director for Public Works and Civil Protection), the Municipality of Naples (with the Deputy Mayor, the welfare manager and a representative of Civil Protection), the Federproprietà Napoli association and the committees "Assemblea popolare di Bagnoli e dei Campi Flegrei".

The Committee highlighted the difficulties in finding housing not only in the Phlegraean area, but also in the neighboring municipalities. In the face of these critical issues, the participants assured maximum commitment and collaboration, proposing to replicate the activity scheme already adopted for the displaced nuclei of the Vele di Scampia.

To overcome the housing emergency, several options will be evaluated, including the possibility of providing advance payments for independent accommodation. Furthermore, the commitment to implement more effective communication and information methods and to hold periodic close meetings of the interinstitutional table was reaffirmed.
The aim is to contribute more quickly and efficiently to the independent settlement of displaced families, providing them with support and clarity in a time of great uncertainty.
