Castellammare – Blitz anticamorra a Castellammare di Stabia, dove i carabinieri del Nucleo Investigativo di Torre Annunziata hanno inflitto un duro colpo al clan D’Alessandro.
Yesterday morning, assets worth 25 million euros were seized from 11 alleged affiliates, as part of the “Domino III” investigation coordinated by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate (PM Giuseppe Cimmarotta).
The operation, which began after the confirmation of the precautionary measures at the Review Court and the arrests three weeks ago – which also involved professionals linked to the clan – led to the seizure of a large quantity of assets. Among these, the restaurant “Le Tre Caravelle” in Luciano Verdoliva, released from prison a month ago after an acquittal on charges of Camorra murder and celebrated with a party featuring sparkling wine and fireworks in the municipal villa, an area under the control of the clan.
Seals were also placed on companies operating in the construction and trade of coffee, bars, betting shops, bank accounts, cars, motorcycles, real estate and land. Among the seized assets, the apartment of a woman investigated for false testimony in the trial for the murder of her father, received in exchange from the D'Alessandro clan, stands out.
Also hit was a company based in Nuoro, linked to the boss Vincenzo D'Alessandro, specialized in the procurement of customers and products for electrical systems.
The operation, which lasted for most of the day due to the vast amount of assets to be seized, represents a further step in the fight against organised crime in the Stabia area.
The investigations, meticulously conducted by the Carabinieri, aim to dismantle the economic network of the clan, which for decades has exercised a widespread influence on the territory through illicit activities and control of key sectors such as construction and gambling.
Authorities stress the importance of these actions to weaken criminal organizations by depriving them of the financial resources necessary to maintain their power.
