Pagliuca arrived on the Stabia bench at the start of the 2023/2024 season. In two years he made 85 official appearances, with a record of 40 wins, 27 draws and 18 defeats, and an average points of 1.72 per game. A performance that led Juve Stabia to win Group C of Serie C and to obtain historic access to the Serie B playoffs in the 2024/2025 season, which ended in the semifinals.

The Campania club wanted to express "deep gratitude" to the coach for the "professionalism and commitment" shown during his tenure, wishing him "the best of luck for his professional future".

Now a new phase opens for the Juve Stabia, looking for the successor to one of the most successful coaches in its recent history.

The mister's letter to the City:

“To the city of Castellammare, to my players, to you dear fans, I write these words with great emotion and gratitude.

After two intense and rewarding years, my journey at the helm of Juve Stabia, in agreement with the club and President Langella, comes to an end.
This decision to undertake new professional paths emerged from the awareness of having given my all for a city, for a shirt, for a company and for a unique group of guys who, without a doubt, gave me so, so much.

A place that deserves great energy, vitality and renewed ambition that I hope a new technical project will be able to offer, thanks also to the careful work of a company that wants to continue to amaze.

I am aware that some of you will be disappointed and sorry. I also know that others, instead, will understand my choice on a professional level but also and above all on a human level.

In these two years, Castellammare has become a bit of my home too. I appreciated your warmth, your passion for football and your attachment to the shirt. I will take with me indelible memories and a sincere affection for this warm, lively, wonderful city.
For your choirs, for your colors.

I remember with great joy and satisfaction the day of promotion from Serie C to Serie B. A goal that we achieved all together with your passion in the stands, at home and away, pushing us beyond every limit. That celebration, the embrace of an entire city, will remain forever etched in my heart.

And then, this year in Serie B. We made history by playing a championship that saw us as protagonists, going well beyond the initial objectives and demonstrating that with commitment, unity of purpose and your constant support no objective, even the biggest one of being able to compete for Serie A, was precluded to us.

The results achieved are the fruit of everyone's work: wonderful players and boys with incredible values, staff, club, all the people who with dedication and love work in silence away from the spotlight and above all, of you fans and of Castellammare, a splendid city.

I thank every single fan from the bottom of my heart for their support, in moments of joy and in the most difficult ones. Thank you for believing in me and my boys and for welcoming my family in the best possible way. Niccolò and Laura have always felt at home and here, all of us, will maintain friendships, affections and indelible memories.

I thank my players for everything they have given me and made me try every day by giving me the opportunity to see them train and play with pure love for football.
I thank all those less visible people who work at Menti but who every day give their all for Juve Stabia.

I thank my staff: unique people who have always been by my side every day.
I thank the journalists and the press for their collaboration, mutual respect and empathy. Especially in the most delicate moments.

I publicly thank President Andrea Langella for the respect shown to me in welcoming my decision and who tried to convince me to stay in Castellammare, the director Matteo Lovisa for having accompanied me on this splendid journey, the administrator Filippo Porcino, the lawyer Maglione Francesco, the Team Manager Pino di Maio, a friend and fantastic person, Enzo, Mario, Sebastiano, uncle Vincenzo and all those who have been splendidly part of our work group in these two years.

I wish Juve Stabia, Castellammare and all of you a future full of success.
Forever Forza Vespe, Forza Juve Stabia!

With love and gratitude,

Guido Pagliuca”.
