Benevento – A 69-year-old man lost his life today in an agricultural accident in the locality of Loreto di Cautano, in the province of Benevento.
The victim, who was driving a tractor, was seriously injured after the vehicle overturned on rough terrain, ending up in a ravine.
The alarm was raised by a passerby who noticed the overturned tractor. The firefighters, 118 paramedics and the Carabinieri intervened on the scene, but there was nothing that could be done for the man: the rescuers confirmed his death. The authorities are investigating to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
