Napoli, Krol promotes Noa Lang: “True talent, someone like Conte can make him explode”

Noa Lang to Napoli? For Ruud Krol it would be a smart move, but only if Antonio Conte is at its helm. The former Azzurri legend, speaking to Radio CRC in the program “A Pranzo con Chiariello”, expressed a clear opinion on the Dutch winger from PSV, who has been insistently linked to the Neapolitan club in recent days.

“Lang has enormous qualities, but he needs a coach like Conte to really bring them out” – said Krol – "He is an intelligent player, capable of making an impact in the offensive zone, creating play and often getting to the conclusion. He can score goals and provide assists, he has instinct and reading of the game, but he must be inserted into a well-defined tactical context, where teamwork is at the center. And only a coach like Conte can give him this."

Krol has no doubts about the value of the striker PSV, but warns of the need for time, method and mentality to make it decisive in a complex championship like the Italian one. “Lang has a good feeling for the penalty area - he added - but the competition in Napoli's attack is high. To emerge, he will have to integrate quickly into the system and give continuity to his talent".
