Naples – The City Council of Naples gave the green light today to monitoring and redevelopment plan of the third ring of the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. The amendment, presented by the councilor Nino Simeone, chairman of the Infrastructure Committee, provides:
Structural assessment of the cover and the third ring
Intervention planning necessary for the full usability
Accelerated timelines to ensure safety and functionality
"This is a fundamental step.", has explained Simeon. "We want to guarantee maximum safety and enhance one of the most iconic facilities in Italy, strategic not only for sport but also for major cultural events.".
The councilor then underlined the commitment of the Administration led by the mayor Gaetano Manfredi"We are keeping the promises made to the city, working with vision and concreteness for a Naples that lives up to its ambitions".
