He Tries to Kill His Partner by Throwing a Turned-On Hairdryer into Her Bathtub: 71-Year-Old Arrested 

San Marco Evangelista – He tried to kill his partner by throwing a hair dryer on her while she was in the bathtub. For this reason, a 71-year-old man was arrested by the Police of State on charges of attempted murder and mistreatment of the family.

The intervention was triggered following an emergency call from a home in the Caserta municipality, after the woman, victim of the attack, had managed to take refuge with the neighbors.

The officers from the Maddaloni police station arrived on the scene and reconstructed the episode: the man, during yet another argument, allegedly tried to electrocute his partner by throwing the turned-on appliance into the bathtub, before hitting and threatening her.

The woman reported to the police a long history of abuse and violence, often linked to the jealousy of her partner, who on several occasions physically and psychologically attacked her.

The officers verified the validity of the accusations and proceeded to arrest the man, who is now detained in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.

The investigation continues to clarify further episodes of domestic violence that the woman allegedly suffered over time.
