Battipaglia, armed man barricades himself in his house and threatens his father and the Carabinieri: arrested

Battipaglia – Moments of tension in Battipaglia, where a 52-year-old man barricaded himself in his home armed, threatening his cohabiting father and the Carabinieri who intervened on the scene. In the end, the man was arrested on charges of mistreatment in the family, resistance and injury to a public official.

According to what was reconstructed by the military of the station Battipaglia and of the NORM radiomobile section of the local Company, the man allegedly first attacked his father, then locked himself in the house brandishing firearms and threatening anyone who approached, including the Carabinieri.

After a delicate operation, the military managed to stop him and block him, avoiding more serious consequences. The operation ended with the arrest of the 52-year-old, now at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
