Campania, Sangiuliano: "Me as a candidate? I'm perfectly fine in Paris."

Share

NNaples – During a break at the ECR Party convention underway in Naples, former Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano quelled rumors about his candidacy in the upcoming regional elections in Campania:

“Never say never in life, but I'm very happy in Paris doing my job.”
Sangiuliano then expressed a favorable opinion on the name proposed by Fratelli d'Italia to succeed De Luca:

“Edmondo Cirielli is an excellent candidate, because he is a proven politician.”
The statement comes on the sidelines of an event attended by European centre-right representatives, and marks a clear distancing of Sangiulian from the electoral negotiations in Campania
