The Siamo Libere Award celebrates the fight against violence.
CCasoria – There was a large turnout last night for the first edition of the “Siamo Libere” Award, held in Casoria, promoted by the co-spokesperson of Europa Verde Campania, Dr. Rosario Visone, and broadcast live on Radio MayDay.

The initiative brought together representatives of institutions, law enforcement, professionals, associations, and artists in a moment of collective reflection on the issue of gender violence.
Among the protagonists of the evening, Luigi Castaldo, vice-president of CON.SI.PE. (Confederation of Penitentiary Unions) and member of the Penitentiary Police Corps, for his contribution to the re-education and reintegration of perpetrators of crimes against women, in full compliance with the provisions of the Red Code (Law 69/2019).
Musical performances enriched the evening with themed pieces, reinforcing the central message: “Love is not violence, but respect for women's freedom.”
Given the overwhelming turnout and the emotional impact, the organizers announced that the event will be repeated in the future to keep awareness high on the phenomenon of violence against women.
