Maurizio De Giovanni and Joe Barbieri celebrate Neapolitan song at the Casa del Jazz in Rome

It is entitled Love the show that on Friday 5th July will see Maurizio De Giovanni and Joe Barbieri as protagonists as part of the festival Concerts in the Park, hosted in the evocative spaces of the Casa del Jazz. The author of the successful novels of Inspector Ricciardi and The Bastards of Pizzofalcone, face of the Napoli literary, more profound and melancholic, crosses his sensitivity with that of Barbieri, a refined and cosmopolitan singer-songwriter, capable of blending jazz, world music and poetry in a musical writing always balanced between roots and distant horizons. Together, accompanied by Oscar Montalbano on the manouche guitar and Nico Di Battista on the DB guitar, they will compose a sonic and narrative fresco that crosses the classics of Neapolitan song, returning them with respect and freshness.
