Fire in apartment in Melito five intoxicated
Melito – A fire broke out today in an apartment located in a building on Via San Vito, in Melito, in the province of Naples.
The flames, which broke out for reasons still being investigated, caused the slight intoxication of five people, who were promptly rescued on site by 118 paramedics. No serious injuries were reported.
.For safety reasons, the Fire Brigade has evacuated the four families residing in the building, ensuring their safety. The episode was discussed in a meeting of the Rescue Coordination Center, convened by the prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, who also addressed other recent emergencies, including the partial collapse of a building in Torre del Greco caused by an explosion and a forest fire in the Camaldoli area.
Investigations to clarify the causes of the fire in Melito are ongoing, while authorities monitor the situation to ensure the safety of residents.
