The curtain rises with Waiting for Pompeii Inn Jazz, the two evenings hosted in the intimate spaces of the Pompei Lab. On Friday 11 July the spotlight will be on Women In… Jazz, an all-female performance led by the intense voice of Sara Rotella, accompanied by Mino Lanzieri on guitar, Elisabetta Saviano on drums and Gianpiero De Honestis on bass. On Thursday, July 17, again at the Pompeii Lab, we will pay homage to one of the absolute queens of African-American music with Billie Holiday's Tribute, a sound journey entrusted to Giusy Del Pezzo and her ensemble.

The heart of the festival will beat strong on July 25th and 26th in Schettini SquareFriday starts with the Alfredo Di Martino 5tet and the “Free Reeds” project, then space for the energy of the Nico Gori Swing 10tet with Ten Years, a show dedicated to the band's tenth anniversary. Saturday's grand finale features a super international band: Rachel Z, Omar Hakim, and Jonathan Toscano will thrill the crowd at 20:45 PM, paving the way for the final set with the Scannapieco-Geremia 5tet and the unmistakable voice of Simona Bencini, icon of Dirotta su Cuba.

Franco Simeri, the well-known voice of Radio Marte, will host the evenings in the square. Admission is free for all events, thanks to the promotion of Music Hub and the patronage of the municipal administration led by Mayor Carmine Lo Sapio. Jazz, once again, lights up Pompeii's nights.
