TTorre del Greco – Eight personal prevention measures were notified by the Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco Company as part of a series of checks across the territory.
The measures, issued by the Police Chief of Napoli, arose from investigations and checks conducted by the military in recent months and concern criminal episodes that occurred between 2024 and 2025.
Specifically, six DACUR (Prohibition of Access to Urban Areas) orders were issued to six individuals—including two minors—all residents of Torre del Greco and already known to law enforcement. At the same time, two oral warnings were also issued to two adults, residents of Torre del Greco and Ercolano, respectively.
The measures are based on a series of crimes committed in the city, including damage to businesses, drug dealing, and robberies. Particular attention was given to an incident in the heart of the city center, where a group of youths—later identified—threw stones and smoke bombs at a Carabinieri patrol responding to a report of nighttime disturbances. The perpetrators were reported and reported to the Police Headquarters for preventive measures.
Those receiving the DACUR will be banned, for the next few years, from accessing specific areas of the Torre del Greco city center, where the unlawful behavior has been identified. The goal, the Carabinieri explain, is to strengthen territorial control and prevent further violent or potentially dangerous actions for public safety.

It's important that the Carabinieri carry out these checks on the territory, but I hope the measures adopted are effective. There are many problems in the city, and concrete solutions must be found to improve everyone's safety.
