Camorra boss Patrizio Bosti and his family sentenced and assets confiscated.

Naples – Patrizio Bosti, 65, the historic head of the Contini clan and a leading figure in the Secondigliano Alliance, was sentenced to 14 years in prison following a summary trial before preliminary hearing judge Federica Villano.

According to magistrates from the Naples District Anti-Mafia Office , the boss—who has repeatedly been at the center of investigations into the Camorra clan that has governed affairs and alliances in the neighborhoods of northern Naples for decades—continues to hold a leading role in the organization.

But he's not the only one facing the justice system. His family members were also convicted in the same proceedings: his son Ettore Bosti, known as Ettoruccio 'o Russ, the designated heir and considered by investigators and informants to be the family's rising star, received the same sentence as his father, 14 years in prison, for mafia-related association.

His children Ettore and Flora and his son-in-law Luca Esposito were also sentenced.

Her daughter, Flora Bosti, was sentenced to six years in prison: the judges upgraded her charge of self-laundering to aggravated receiving of stolen goods, while she was acquitted of the alleged threats against her husband.

The latter, Luca Esposito , the boss's son-in-law, was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months for non-aggravated self-laundering. In his home, in a secure apartment, investigators discovered a vault transformed into a treasure trove of family wealth: €4 million in cash, jewelry, and luxury watches, with a total estimated value of €16 million.

A treasure trove of opulent possessions: a €370 Patek Philippe, a €120 diamond necklace, dozens of Rolex watches, precious items, and exclusive accessories.

The ruling ordered the confiscation of millions of dollars of that asset, considered the fruit and symbol of the clan's accumulated economic power. The reasons for the order will be filed within ninety days.

The name of Patrizio Bosti has always been linked to the criminal triumvirate that makes up the Secondigliano Alliance, together with the Licciardi and Mallardo clans: an association capable of influencing major drug trafficking and money laundering networks in Italy and abroad for years.

Investigations have repeatedly described Bosti as a boss skilled in business, capable of building hidden financial channels and maintaining a strong family power, so much so that he involved his children and sons-in-law in the management of his wealth.

The investigation concluded today is neither the first nor the only one centered on the Bosti family. In recent years, in Naples and other major European cities, the names of Ettore 'o Russ and other heirs of the boss have appeared in the files of various prosecutors, a sign of generational continuity that demonstrates how the family continues to represent a key figure in the organized Camorra landscape.

The conviction and massive confiscation mark a crucial step in the state's long war against the illicit assets of the Secondigliano Alliance: targeting money, even before weapons, is now the central strategy for weakening the clans' power.
