Tragedy in San Cipriano d'Aversa, in the Caserta area, where an Italian Post Office employee lost her life following a dramatic road accident that occurred while she was on duty.

The victim is Paola Russo, 36, a postal sorter. She was riding a company scooter along Via Montecorvino when, for reasons still under investigation, she was involved in a violent accident.

The first reconstruction by the Carabinieri

According to initial investigations carried out by Carabinieri from the San Cipriano d'Aversa station and the Casal di Principe Company, the scooter driven by the 36-year-old initially struck a van stopped on the road, driven by a 52-year-old man.
