San Giorgio a Cremano: Man arrested for assaulting police officers on Viale Formisano

Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 48-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, charged with assault and resisting a public official. The arrest took place on Viale Formisano, in San Giorgio a Cremano, following a report of a disturbing individual on the street.

Quickly arriving on the scene, officers from the local police station identified the man, who, upon seeing them, reacted with a physical attack. Despite his violent reaction, the officers managed to subdue him and place him under arrest.

The arrest was made during the prevention and control operations set up by the Police to ensure public safety in the area.
