Police checks in Ischia: 164 people identified and 5 fines issued

In recent days, the State Police has intensified checks along the coast of the island of Ischia through the Marine Section of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue. During the operation, 164 people were identified, 56 of whom had criminal records.

Additionally, 45 vessels were inspected, with five violations of the Navigation Code being discovered. These checks are part of maritime prevention and safety activities aimed at ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting residents and tourists in the area.

Law enforcement will continue to monitor the area to maintain high standards of law and order.
