A fallen tree on Via dei Principati in Salerno raised concerns in recent hours, initially attributed to the possible impact of a heavy vehicle. However, thanks to the investigative work conducted by the Municipal Police Traffic Unit, it was possible to precisely identify the person responsible for the damage.

Analysis of video surveillance footage from a nearby business allowed the precise sequence of events to be reconstructed. The perpetrator of the damage was identified, fined, and issued a formal notice by the municipal administration to carry out environmental restoration, including the obligation to replant a new tree to replace the one felled.

The project represents a concrete example of protection of urban greenery and the environment by local institutions.
