Tragic August 15th in Nocera Superiore: Motorcycle crash kills rider

This afternoon, a 35-year-old man riding a motorcycle lost control of his vehicle for reasons yet to be determined, crashing heavily onto the asphalt. The extremely violent impact left Mario Prete, 35, with no chance of survival.

A 118 emergency crew responded to the scene, but upon arrival they could only confirm the death of the man, a logistics worker working at the Umberto I Hospital in Nocera Inferiore. He leaves behind a young daughter.

The victim is an employee of the logistics sector of the Nocera Inferiore hospital.

The tragic accident occurred at the crossroads between Via Monte del Vesuvio and Via Kennedy, in the Pecorari hamlet, near a local tobacconist.

Law enforcement officers are also on site to reconstruct the exact sequence of events. An autopsy will determine the cause of death, while they are seeking useful footage from public and private security cameras in the area.
