Tragic accident in Sassano: 48-year-old man loses his life after car overturns

Sassano – A fatal traffic accident occurred this morning around 8:30 a.m. on Via Ascolese, in Sassano, in the province of Salerno. The victim, a 48-year-old man from Montesano sulla Marcellana, lost his life after his Ford Ka left the road and overturned.

According to initial information, the driver was traveling alone at the time of the accident. Emergency medical services, the Fire Brigade, and the Carabinieri responded quickly to the scene, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the man: he died instantly.

Operations to secure the vehicle and the surrounding area are still ongoing. At the same time, the Carabinieri have begun investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident, which are currently unknown. The causes of the vehicle's loss of control are under investigation.
