Stones thrown from the Posillipo terrace onto the street: the video is making the rounds online.

Naples – They picked up rocks from the ground and threw them into the void, from the Posillipo panoramic terrace toward the street below. This act could have had very serious consequences, endangering motorists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians traveling in the area of Tredici Discese di Sant'Antonio.

Documenting this is a video that went viral on social media after being posted by the Green-Left Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, to whom the footage was sent by a citizen.

The images show two young men picking up rocks and dropping them from a height. This was potentially dangerous behavior, given the possibility that the stones could reach the roadway and strike someone. The incident sparked outrage and rekindled awareness of irresponsible behavior in public spaces.

Borrelli: "It's not a prank, but a dangerous act."

The AVS deputy asked that those responsible be identified promptly, underlining the gravity of the act and the risks to people's safety.

"We are witnessing yet another example of a constantly and worryingly growing trend of violence and youthful recklessness," Borrelli declared. "Throwing stones from a scenic overlook onto a road below is not a prank or a prank, but a criminal act that endangers the lives of innocent people."

"Those responsible must not go unpunished."

The MP then insisted on the need to trace the identity of the two young men filmed in the video and to ascertain any responsibilities.

"Those responsible for this senseless act must be identified quickly. Such behavior cannot and must not go without consequences," added Borrelli, also emphasizing the role of families in raising children.

"We need to make these young people, and their families, understand that the streets are not an arena for madness and arrogance," the MP concluded.

The risk posed to anyone walking along the road below at that moment remains central: a stone thrown from a considerable height can cause accidents and even serious injuries. The eventual identification of the individuals in the video and a complete reconstruction of the events should clarify the circumstances of the incident and individual responsibilities.
