Covid in Italy, 17.744 new cases and positivity rate at 11 percent

There have been 17.744 new cases of Covid in Italy registered in the last 24 hours, down from 23.976 yesterday, for a total of 17.247.552 since the beginning of theepidemic.

There are 34 deaths, compared to 91 yesterday, for a total of 165.952 since the beginning of the epidemic. This is what emerges from the SNOW Ministry of Health's daily newspaper on the spread of coronavirus in our country.

The swabs carried out are 160.995, compared to 231.931 yesterday, with a ratio of swabs to positives that rises to 11 percent from 10,3 percent yesterday. The currently positive are 850.596, 6.273 fewer than yesterday. The people hospitalized in intensive care are 292, nine fewer than yesterday. The discharged / healed they are 24.528, for a total of 16.231.004 since the beginning of the epidemic.

At a territorial level, the regions with the highest increases in terms of infections are Lombardy (2.276), Campania (2.080) and Lazio (1.716).
