It happened shortly before the post office opened, around 8am . One of the robbers attacked one of the security guards , hitting him with the butt of his gun.

Within a few minutes, the gang had stolen the contents of the van, then fled towards Caivano in a dark-colored Nissan Qashqai .

Robbers on the run, investigation underway

The men of the Maddaloni police station and the Carabinieri of the local company are now hunting for the gang of robbers. Investigations underway: the footage from the post office's video surveillance cameras has been acquired.
