President Oreste Vigorito has dismissed Fabio Cannavaro and Pasquale Foggia , respectively coach and sporting director of Benevento football club.

The decision came after yet another defeat, suffered today by Benevento at home to Venezia . Along with the Giallorossi coach, assistant coach Paolo Cannavaro is also leaving.

The dismissal of coach Cannavaro and sporting director Foggia came after a long discussion in the locker room with president Oreste Vigorito following the defeat in the Serie B championship match.

Both Foggia and Cannavaro were targeted by fans during the protests following the final whistle of this afternoon's match. The team is now temporarily under the care of youth team coach Gennaro Scarlato.
