Pozzuoli: Carabinieri raid: illegal parking garages and workplace irregularities in the Reginella district.

An operation coordinated by the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli Company focused primarily on the Reginella area, where widespread abuse of public land was discovered.

Three garages intended for private parking were built without authorization in three public courtyards, taking away space from public use. Four people were reported for illegally occupying public land: a 52-year-old man, a 48-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man, and a 44-year-old woman.

A 27-year-old woman was reported for commissioning renovation work carried out without the required permits. Five workers believed to be undocumented were also identified on the construction site.

At the same time, a 27-year-old was charged with driving without a license, having been a repeat offender for the past two years. A 21-year-old was charged with reckless evasion: he failed to stop at a Carabinieri stop, fleeing on his scooter. He was later apprehended and identified after a brief pursuit.

Inspections were also carried out within the health service: a business on Via del Mare was inspected. The owner was reported for serious hygiene and sanitation deficiencies, and two illegal workers were detected; the business was administratively closed.

Overall, during the operation, 44 people were identified, 20 vehicles were checked, 8 traffic violations were issued, and 4 people were reported to the Prefecture for personal drug use. The investigation and measures demonstrated the commitment of law enforcement to protecting public space, road safety, and legality in the area.
