Secondigliano: 17-year-old Anna Grimaldi killed after being hit while crossing the street.

Naples – In Secondigliano, yet another young road victim is being mourned. Her name was Anna Grimaldi, and she was just 17 years old. She was originally from the Perrone area. She was struck yesterday while crossing at a pedestrian crossing in the Capodichino area.

A violent impact left her with no chance of survival. The girl was thrown several meters away, falling hard to the ground. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful. By the time the rescue team arrived on the scene, her heart had already stopped beating.

The body has now been placed under sequestration pending an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident. Investigators are examining security camera footage to determine the circumstances and determine who is responsible.

The girl's death is just the latest in a long string of road fatalities in Naples and the surrounding province. There have been calls for caution, demonstrations, and calls for checks.
