In Salerno the presentation of 'Books feel alone' by Luigi Contu

Luigi Contu, director of the ANSA news agency, will be in Salerno on Wednesday, April 26, for the presentation of his latest book, published by La Nave di Teseo, in which he tells the story of his extraordinary family library, which brings to life key moments of contemporary history, from the Risorgimento to the most significant events of our democratic life.

“Books feel lonely”, this is the title of the volume, is a literary adventure novel for those who love books and the secrets they contain.

Contu will talk about it at 11:30 in the conference room of the “ER Caianello” Humanistic Library of the University of Salerno and in the afternoon, at 17:00, at the National Archaeological Museum of Sarno, during the third edition of the Nuova Officina meetings dedicated to the publishing market.

On this occasion he will be awarded the annual prize dedicated to Journalism, in recognition of his activity and, in particular, of his great organizational and innovation skills.

Andrea Manzi and Vincenzo Salerno will talk about the book, and in the morning they will talk with the author in the presence of students from the Departments of Communication Sciences and Humanistic Studies of the University of Salerno.

The opening greetings were from professors Virgilio D'Antonio and Carmine Pinto, directors of the two Departments sponsoring the meeting, and from the director of the library, Maria Rosaria Califano.
