Naples, “Bosco in rosa” returns: the women's running event in Capodimonte

The “Bosco in rosa – Corri tra i capolavori” is back, a sporting event organized by Napoli Running with the patronage of the municipality of Naples.

An event dedicated to women, absolute protagonists on the afternoon of Saturday 14 October 2023, with departure scheduled for 16,00 pm.

In the Real Bosco di Capodimonte, this year too 700 women will compete in a non-competitive race, of a distance of 4 km, to run or walk among the beauty and botanical richness of the place. Along the route, in fact, it is planned to pass through the Anglo-Chinese garden, the imposing Canforo, the Taxodium.

A suggestive panorama, offered by the prestigious green lung of Naples, will appear before their eyes and will ease their fatigue.

For the organization of this long-awaited initiative, Napoli running has availed itself of the co-organization of the Director of the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte, Sylvain Bellenger and the further collaboration of the SOS Supporters of Santobono ETS Hospital Foundation.

Prevention and well-being will also be on stage with the presence of Synlab SDN, which will present the initiative “Cuore di Donna” aimed at female cardiovascular prevention, with the planned free screening reserved for women aged 35 to 69. The latter will be able to go, from 23 to 28 October, to the Synlab Lei Center, located in via Guantai Nuovi.

In this 2023 edition there will also be a special novelty: three extraordinary volunteers will take care of the entertainment, taking care of the children and teenagers following the mothers who will participate in the race. One more reason to be there!

The event, which traditionally has a charitable purpose, this year supports the project: “Humanization of the Pediatric Burns Center”, aimed at completing – at the Santo Bono Hospital in Naples – the first specialized sub-intensive department in Italy for pediatric patients.

An event not to be missed, which is special because it involves women and reserves for them the great privilege of indulging their sporting passion and carrying out solidarity, to which the female universe always dedicates considerable attention.

Registrations closed today, October 13th at 17,00:14,30 p.m., but the Napoli Running organization has announced that it will still be possible to register from 14:10 p.m. tomorrow, 2023/XNUMX/XNUMX, directly in the starting area, until the bibs run out. T-shirts can also be purchased until available supplies run out.
