Change of driver on an ANM line, passengers wait half an hour for the arrival of the new driver because he is late 

An irregular and unforeseen change of driver. It would have happened to Napoli Monday 11 March during the journey of ANM line 204.

As one of the passengers, who also made a short film to document the unusual situation that he reported to the Green-left alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, said, the first driver stopped the bus at the National Museum stop to wait for his colleague who was then supposed to take over.

A wait of about 30 minutes due to the delay of the other driver. The response to the protests of some citizens exasperated by the continuous delays of public transport was truly unexpected.

A man in the ANM uniform took the umbrella and threw it at the person who was complaining, even threatening to beat him and ordering him to go away.

“We had to wait for almost half an hour stuck in the bus on the street. We were treated very badly and even threatened. Changing drivers in the middle of the journey is certainly not expected.” - explained the reporter, very upset by the incident.

“We have sent a communication to the management of ANM so that what has been reported to us can be verified and measures taken in the event of any findings,” declared Borrelli,

"The employees cannot independently manage shift changes, especially in the middle of a rush to the detriment of users, already at the mercy of too many problems with the poor public service. We are also surprised by the threats and aggression shown towards those who rightly protested the poor service".
