Castel Volturno blinded by jealousy beats her partner: 31-year-old arrested 

Castel Volturno. The Carabinieri of the Castel Volturno branch arrested a 31-year-old woman for domestic violence against her 45-year-old live-in partner.

The episode occurred yesterday evening, July 11, when the 45-year-old returned home after spending the day out. According to her story, the 31-year-old, in a fit of jealousy and under the influence of alcohol, allegedly attacked her verbally and physically.

The woman was initially left outside the house and then, once inside, she was hit with slaps and punches in the face, and was also threatened with a knife.

This is not the first time that the 45-year-old has been subjected to violence by her partner: on a previous occasion, the 31-year-old allegedly tried to run her over with her car.

The 43-year-old, tired of the constant attacks, finally reported the incident to the Carabinieri who, having intervened on the scene, arrested the 31-year-old.

This morning, the judge of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Court validated the arrest and ordered the 31-year-old woman to be prohibited from approaching the victim or the places she frequented.
