Caivano, former municipal official Stefano Lizzi seized

Caivano, The Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna have executed a seizure ordered by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North. The measure concerns Stefano Lizzi, a municipal employee of Caivano already convicted in the first degree for corruption.

Lizzi, former head of Public Works in Caivano, allegedly received money from a businessman in exchange for the illegal awarding of public contracts. These facts date back to 2015.

Investigations have shown that Lizzi he favored the entrepreneur in the management of the cleaning services of the Municipality, violating the rules on public procurement.

The seizure aims to recover the amount illegally obtained by Lizzi or assets of equal value.
