Policeman Dies Falling From Roof: Tragedy in Sant'Agata de' Goti

Sant'Agata de' Goti – A tragic domestic accident claimed the life of Clemente P., a 50-year-old police officer serving with the Caserta State Police's mounted squad.

The man fell from the roof of his home in the Faggiano hamlet, where he had climbed to clean the chimney.

According to an initial reconstruction, the victim lost his balance during maintenance operations, falling several meters into the void.

The violent impact with the ground left him no escape. The rescue attempts by the 118 personnel, who arrived immediately on the scene, were in vain.

The Carabinieri and the municipal police intervened at the scene of the tragedy and began investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident. At the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the coroner Francesco La Sala carried out the necessary surveys and inspected the body.
