Acerra – A new inspection by the scientific police took place this morning at the home in the Ice Snei district, the scene of the tragedy that shocked the local community.
Here, on the night between February 15 and 16, little Giulia Loffredo, just nine months old, was fatally attacked by the family pitbull, according to what was reported by her father, Vincenzo Loffredo. The child, despite the help, died shortly after the attack.
The father, a 24-year-old, is currently under investigation for manslaughter, with the charge of failure to guard and supervise the animal. The investigation continues unabated, and today's new inspection comes after an inspection conducted last Wednesday, when the apartment was found surprisingly clean.
A circumstance that raised questions and pushed Loffredo's defense attorney, Luigi Montano, to request the Nola Prosecutor's Office to further interrogate the young man, which has not yet been scheduled, to shed light on any anomalies in the management of the scene of the drama.
Investigators' doubts after cleaning the apartment
According to what Vincenzo told his lawyer, some family members may have cleaned the apartment before the sealing was ordered with the seizure of the house.
A detail that fuels the doubts of the investigators and that could prove crucial to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the facts. The tragedy continues to keep the entire community in suspense, waiting for definitive answers on a story that has broken the hearts of many.
