The friendship between Casa Sanremo and Sorrento continues

The Sanremo Festival led by Carlo Conti has aroused great success and appreciation. In parallel with the official events of the Ariston Theatre, Casa Sanremo has registered great interest with an intense program at the Palafiori, which has lasted for two weeks, focusing on territories, musical proposals, shows, books and new talents.

A Cultural Dialogue between Sanremo and Sorrento

During this event, an interesting cultural dialogue developed between Sanremo and Sorrento, two significant destinations for Italian and international tourism. The “library” section of Casa Sanremo, in its eighteenth year, recognized the Premio Penisola Sorrentina, a film event of national importance, supported by the municipal administration of Sorrento.

Awards and Collaborations

Mario Esposito, artistic director of the Award, expressly thanked the managers of Casa Sanremo for the certificate received, sharing the recognition with the Mayor of Sorrento, Massimo Coppola, and the team of the Penisola Sorrentina Award, now in its thirtieth edition, included in the promotional poster of the Campania Film Commission and the Ministry of Culture. The synergy between Sanremo and Sorrento represents a bridge of friendship and cultural dialogue. In the 2024 edition, in Sorrento, a special Casa Sanremo off Award will be awarded to Pippo Balistreri, historic stage director of the prestigious Italian song Festival.
