The green revolution of public transport in Naples continues at a steady pace. Starting today, the electric fleet of the ANM is enriched with 15 new buses, bringing the number of zero-emission vehicles in daily service on the city streets to 37.
A leap in quality made possible by the joint work between the company's technicians and the institutions, which has allowed the effective use of the funds of the PNRR, as proudly underlined in an official note. Before being put into service, the new buses were subjected to a series of checks and road tests.
The results exceeded expectations: battery consumption levels proved to be extremely efficient, with shorter charging times and less demanding infrastructure-wise. The new vehicles, different in size and characteristics, were distributed across the three operating plants in Via delle Puglie, Cavalleggeri d'Aosta and Carlo III, and assigned to different urban lines based on capacity, routes and compatibility with local traffic.

It is interesting that in Naples there are more electric buses, but I hope that people really use these means and do not return to the old habits of using cars. Sustainability is important to all of us.
