Giugliano, the body found in the canal at Lago Patria is that of Antonio Esposito

Giugliano – The identity of the body found this morning by the Carabinieri and firefighters diving unit in a quarry adjacent to Lago Patria in the municipality of Giugliano has been confirmed.

It is that of 30-year-old Antonio Esposito. The man had escaped from house arrest last July 4th, the day after his wife had filed a missing person report. After searches by the Carabinieri of Giugliano in Campania, the man's body was found lifeless in a canal adjacent to Lago Patria.

His wife and other relatives had made several appeals on social media: he was the father of three children and was around 30 years old.

 How did he end up in the water? The search for alleged accomplices is underway

An investigation is underway that leads to a robbery at the Ital Mare company that took place a few days ago, the day Antonio Esposito escaped from his home and was carried out by three people.
