MMonteforte Irpino – A violent fire completely destroyed a warehouse used for storing detergents in the area of Monteforte Irpino, a municipality a few kilometers from Avellino.
The flames broke out late yesterday afternoon and quickly engulfed the entire structure, reducing it to ashes. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The warehouse was used by a local wholesaler to store cleaning products. The alarm was raised shortly after 18:XNUMX PM when a thick column of smoke began to rise from the town's industrial area, attracting the attention of residents and motorists. The smoke was visible for kilometers, even from Avellino and neighboring municipalities.
