Naples: A regional project against bullying and cyberbullying begins at the MANN.

Naples – The project "Let's Educate on Respect. Together Against Bullying" is launching at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The project is promoted by the Campania Region as part of Regional Law No. 11 of 2017, dedicated to preventing and combating bullying and cyberbullying.

The series of meetings, organized by Scabec, will begin on Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the MANN Auditorium, with a discussion among institutions, experts, families, and representatives of the educational network of middle and high schools.

The goal is to address the issue of respect in relationships between young people, with particular attention to behavior in the digital context.

Institutions and experts face to face

The inaugural event will be opened by Francesco Sirano, director general of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Ninni Cutaia, councilor for culture of the Campania region, and Andrea Morniroli, regional councilor for social policies and education.

The initiative stems from the idea that beauty and cultural heritage can become educational tools, capable of fostering empathy, a sense of community, and awareness of one's actions in young people. Museums and cultural venues are thus transformed into spaces for encounter and dialogue, where respect, listening, and healthy relationships are fostered.

"Antibodies of knowledge" against bullying and cyberbullying

The heart of the event will be the performance "Antibodies of Knowledge on Bullying and Cyberbullying," curated by the social cooperative L'Isola che c'è.

The initiative will combine scientific information, artistic expression, and opportunities for audience discussion. Speakers, actors, musicians, artists, and digital professionals will take turns on stage, engaging with attendees to analyze the phenomenon of bullying from various perspectives.

The goal is to transform the event into a participatory experience, capable of directly involving students and families.

Museum visit and meeting schedule

The event will conclude with a guided tour of the MANN collections, designed to reaffirm the value of cultural heritage as a tool for civic education and awareness-building. All participants will also receive a symbolic gift dedicated to the value of kindness.
