Rome – Raffaella Carrà had adopted a son before her death: he is the sole heir to her artistic estate. This is what emerges from the text of a Rome Court ruling regarding a dispute with a Spanish company over the production of the show "Ballo, ballo."

His adopted son is Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni, as revealed by the Corriere della Sera website. He was born in Ferrara in 1964, but lives in Rome where he runs 'Arcoiris edizioni musicali', which he owns.

According to the order of the Roman Court, Gian Luca Bulzoni is the sole legitimate heir to the estate of the Italian artist, who died in Rome on July 5, 2021, at the age of 78.

Pelloni Bulzoni was Raffaella Carrà's personal secretary and manager, and was among her closest and dearest friends, along with a few others.

Following the news's release, the Raffaella Carrà Foundation's press office issued a statement: "In light of what was reported by Corriere della Sera, we would like to announce that Raffaella Carrà's decision to adopt Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni was intended to continue his work and carry out all the charitable initiatives dear to her in his name. Mr. Pelloni Bulzoni has already established the Foundation, dedicating his efforts to numerous charitable projects, as well as sponsoring cultural and musical events in honor of the artist."

Carrà's former personal secretary, the legitimate heir to her estate, had asked the Rome court to block a musical produced by a Spanish company to protect the great artist's estate. Last February, the ruling issued on the matter, in addition to settling the dispute, legitimized Gian Luca Pelloni Bulzoni's claim as heir.

Three years ago, RAI journalist Adriana Pannitteri revealed in a book that Raffaella Carrà had adopted a son, which had occurred shortly before her death.
