Naples – A new legal chapter has opened for SS Juve Stabia, a club currently competing in Serie B. Today, the State Police executed a precautionary seizure order targeting the club's shares and all of its assets.
The order, which is of a highly precautionary and protective nature, was issued by the Preventive Measures Section of the Court of Naples pursuant to Article 34, paragraph 7 of the Anti-Mafia Code. The decision was made following a joint proposal from the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor, the Public Prosecutor of Naples, and the Naples Police Chief.
According to an official statement released by the authorities, the intervention was necessary "to protect the company from the risk of dispersal, disposal, and misappropriation of its assets." The initiative builds on the already active judicial administration measure—ordered last October—introduced with the aim of cleansing and protecting the company's management from potential influence by local organized crime.
Today's seizure order was served on Francesco Agnello, in his capacity as legal representative of Stabia Capital Srl, the company that owns the club's shares.
