CSM: Francesco Soviero appointed Deputy Prosecutor of Naples, leading the Labor Section.

The Superior Council of the Judiciary has appointed Francesco Soviero as the new Deputy Prosecutor of the Naples Prosecutor's Office . The decision was made by the CSM plenum with almost unanimous approval: only four abstentions were recorded during the vote.

Currently a deputy prosecutor at the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office, Soviero thus returns to Naples , a judicial office in which he has already gained long and significant experience as a public prosecutor, dealing with numerous and delicate investigative activities.

The appointment represents an important step in strengthening the organization of the Naples Prosecutor's Office, led by Nicola Gratteri. In recent days, the magistrate had already met with the Chief Prosecutor to finalize the transfer procedures and the start of his new role.

Leading the Work Section

According to the office's organizational structure, Soviero will be appointed to head the Labor Section, one of the most sensitive areas of the Naples Prosecutor's Office. This unit handles investigations into workplace safety, accidents, workplace deaths, and violations of worker protection laws.
This is a particularly strategic sector in an area that in recent years has seen numerous incidents related to workplace accidents and irregularities in prevention and safety systems.

The green light from the CSM

Soviero's candidacy was unanimously proposed by the Fifth Commission of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, which recognized his professional experience and the skills he had developed throughout his career. The subsequent favorable vote by the plenum officially sanctioned his return to Naples as deputy prosecutor.
