Capaccio-Paestum inaugurates its accessible beach for people with disabilities.

Starting today, the Laura coastline in Capaccio-Paestum, near Salerno, welcomes a new accessible beach designed for people with disabilities. The beach, located next to Lido Nettuno, was created as part of the "A Sea Without Barriers" initiative, part of the regional "A-mare Tutti" program.

The facility is equipped with walkways for wheelchairs, special chairs for easy movement on the sand and in the water, and trained staff to provide assistance and hospitality. The inauguration was attended by Mayor Gaetano Paolino, Councilor for Social Policies Alessandra Senatore, and representatives of local institutions and the S7 Area Plan.

This project is part of a broader social inclusion strategy promoted by the Municipality of Capaccio-Paestum, aimed at people with disabilities, minors, and the elderly, and represents an important step towards more inclusive and accessible tourism for all.
