Seiano transforms into a stage for starred cuisine with Girogustando 2026.

The village of Seiano, in the picturesque setting of Vico Equense, is preparing to shine a spotlight on its culinary excellence with Girogustando 2026, scheduled for July 13th to 15th. The event, now in its fifth year and promoted by APS Gens Seja, confirms itself as an unmissable event for lovers of food and local culture, combining flavors, art, and music.

This year's edition features an enriched and engaging program: over 45 chefs and restaurateurs, including prestigious Michelin-starred names such as Giuseppe Aversa, Giuseppe Guida, Ciro Sicignano, Sakai Fumiko, Benedetta Somma, and Domenico Iavarone, will take turns in a gastronomic relay showcasing the specialties of the Sorrento Peninsula and Campania.

The event isn't limited to cuisine: a rich cultural program will accompany the evenings, featuring shows, live music, exhibitions, and cooking demonstrations, under the artistic direction of Marco Palmieri. The event aims to be a multisensory experience, showcasing popular traditions and contemporary creativity.

Ciro Buonocore, president of APS Gens Seja, emphasized the importance of this edition, calling it "even richer and more ambitious" and capable of uniting culture, art, and local products. Also crucial is the support of partners such as Pizza a Metro, the Provolone del Monaco DOP Consortium, Slow Food, and Coldiretti, who will highlight the area's excellent agricultural and food products.

Institutional support is strong: the inauguration was attended by the regional councilor for Agriculture Maria Carmela Serluca, the councilor of the Metropolitan City of Naples Vincenzo Cirillo, and the deputy mayor of Vico Equense Annalisa Donnarumma.

To facilitate participation, ample parking is available, along with free shuttles from the center of Vico Equense and Marina di Equa. The food trail includes a €25 voucher that includes five tastings and a bottle of water, while wine lovers can opt for a wine trail featuring eight wineries, with a €10 bracelet for free tastings.

Girogustando 2026 is not just a celebration of taste, but a true manifesto of the food and wine culture of the Sorrento Peninsula, capable of expressing the identity and excellence of the region with passion and professionalism.
