Child pornography: 200 files in possession, six arrests
Milan – The State Police have concluded an investigation that led to the arrest of six people accused of possession of child pornography. The operation, conducted by the Lombardy Cybersecurity Operations Center under the direction of the Milan Prosecutor's Office and coordinated by the National Center for the Fight against Online Child Pornography (CNCPO), led to the identification and arrest of those responsible.
Those arrested live in Milan, two in the province of Lodi, one in the province of Como, and one in Naples. All were found in possession of large quantities of images and videos of child abuse. During the searches, a significant amount of computer material, more than 200 files including photos and videos, was seized.
The investigation, launched in December 2025, monitored the online channels used to disseminate the illicit material for months, thanks in part to collaboration with an international nonprofit organization. The enforcement activities involved the Postal Police Operational Sections of Brescia, Varese, Mantua, Pavia, Bergamo, and Como, as well as the Cybersecurity Operations Center in Naples.
The operation confirms the Postal Police's ongoing commitment to combating online child pornography and protecting minors.
