A plot of land measuring approximately 100 square meters has been transformed into a veritable waste dump. This is what the local police in Afragola discovered, who seized the lot and reported the owner for the violations they found.
During the inspection, officers found numerous abandoned materials: paint cans, construction waste, refrigerators, sheet metal, bituminous membranes, and broken glass panes. A caravan and several abandoned vehicles were also located on the property.
According to the inspections, the property was in a state of "total neglect and severe degradation." The investigation was conducted by officers coordinated by Commander Antonio Piricelli, a member of the Terra dei Fuochi control room.
The seizure was ordered due to the lack of the necessary environmental and building permits. Following the investigation, the landowner was reported to the judicial authorities.
The project is part of the effort to combat illegal waste dumping and environmental degradation in the Terra dei Fuochi area.
