Agropoli, massive brawl in the park: boy stabbed. Hunt underway for attacker.

A young man was seriously injured following a violent fight that broke out last night at Liborio Bonifacio Park in Agropoli. The young man was stabbed and was treated by paramedics, who took him to the hospital with a critical condition.

The attacker, identified as a young Tunisian resident of Agropoli, fled immediately after the injury. Carabinieri from the Agropoli Company are on his trail, working to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and identify all the participants in the brawl.

The argument escalated near the former furnace

The incident occurred in the municipal park area adjacent to the former brickyard, one of the most popular meeting places for young people in the area.

According to an initial reconstruction, still being examined by investigators, it all began with a heated argument between members of a group. The argument involved five young Tunisian nationals, all city residents and regular visitors to the park.

Within minutes, the words escalated to physical violence, until one of the bystanders pulled out a knife and struck his opponent. The blade struck the young man during the fight, in front of numerous bystanders at the town park.

Panic erupted among those present and rescue operations were in red code.

The brawl caused fear and confusion among those in Liborio Bonifacio Park. Some bystanders immediately alerted emergency services.

Emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene and provided first aid to the injured boy before rushing him to the hospital. His condition was described as serious, although further medical details have not yet been released.

The knife recovered on the roof of the former furnace

After the stabbing, the attacker reportedly fled, attempting to get rid of the weapon. The knife was allegedly thrown onto the roof of the former brickyard, where it was later recovered by the Carabinieri.

It is a knife with a blade approximately ten centimeters long. The weapon will be subjected to technical tests to identify any biological traces and reconstruct precisely what happened.
