August 15th in Sorrento, amidst technological lights and tradition: the Federalberghi event was a success.

This year, Ferragosto in Sorrento has once again proven to be an event capable of combining technological innovation and popular tradition, transforming the Gulf into an open-air theater.

The event, organized by Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina with the support of local entrepreneurs and operators, attracted a large audience of both residents and tourists. The evening opened with the Pirofantasy Drone Light Show, which animated the sky with luminous figures and iconic symbols of the city, including the historic logo designed in the 1990s by Filippo Leonelli.

Afterwards, the fireworks display by Pirotecnica Sorrentina brought the festival back to its most traditional roots, providing moments of intense emotion and collective participation. This combination of technology and tradition represents an effective interpretative key to understanding Sorrento's vocation to renew itself without losing its identity.

Thousands of people gathered along the seafront and in the city's scenic areas, while accommodations and restaurants enjoyed good attendance, confirming the strategic role of events in promoting tourism and reducing the seasonality of the season.

The Ferragosto holiday has thus consolidated its position as a key event in the Sorrento summer, combining local promotion, cultural identity, and public participation.
