Naples – A constant and widespread presence to reassert territorial control in one of the city's iconic locations. In recent days, the State Police implemented a new extraordinary prevention and surveillance service in the heart of the Spanish Quarter.

The operation is part of a high-impact action plan promoted by the Naples Police Headquarters to restore liveability and safety to a strategic area of ​​​​the city's complex urban fabric.

The operation involved officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, supported by officers from the Dante and Montecalvario police stations. The neighborhood's alleys and most sensitive areas were searched: the final result of the operation was 283 identified individuals, 55 of whom were already known to law enforcement through criminal records, and 78 vehicles were inspected.
