Naples transforms into an open-air laboratory during the summer thanks to Città della Scienza, which opens its doors every week from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm. The science center thus becomes a hub for those who want to explore fascinating topics with an interactive approach that's accessible to all ages.

Among the most popular attractions is the Planetarium, where you can travel among the stars with live shows and video projections that reveal the mysteries of the universe. Alongside this, the Insects & Co. exhibition takes visitors into the microcosm of arthropods, while Corporea, a unique interactive museum in Europe dedicated to human anatomy, offers an educational experience led by the humanoid robot Aphel, engaging adults and children alike.

The cultural offering is further enriched with a special event scheduled for the weekend of August 22 and 23, 2026. During these days, double performances of the science show "The Magic That Physics Can Explain" will guide the audience through the discovery of magnetism: an invisible and powerful force that permeates everyday life and that physics interprets with an almost magical allure. Through a journey through time, from ancient Greece to the most advanced technologies such as magnetic levitation trains, participants will be able to experiment directly with compasses and magnets, discovering how some animals navigate without GPS and how music takes shape inside loudspeakers.
